Given life from the union of Nathanael Alamie and Siobhan Siannodenel, young Niobhe is a child of contrasts.
Heir to many a different way of life, backgrounds and even race, though truly part of none, she struggles with her heritage. Raised with the mixed lifestyles of her parents, though clearly not part of either, she holds to the culture of the land she grew up in the Kingdom of the Giantdowns. She spent her younger days at the court of 'uncle' Hrothwulf, in between the other wards.
In this time she met a young skald by the name of Haeming she fell in love with. In the end this relationship fell apart, in part through the intervention of her father, though she only found out about this later. It remains the only sore point between Niobhe and Nathanael.
After this she spent less and less time at court and more in the woods of Caer Cwnnar and Rhuiddar, wandering with the local clans and learning to live like them. She loves its Rjurik inhabitants dearly as they are the only ones who have accepted her fully. In these last years she saw less of her parents and spent more time visiting the hall of her uncle Daegandal in Rhuiddar.
After recently visiting the Anuirean lands her father came from she finally met her grandfather Thalion. Though she had heard many a wary word from King Hrothwulf and her father she was welcomed with open arms and immediately felt a bond to the old man. With the new Emperor edicts and subsequent arrest of Thalion, she left Anuire travelling back to her birth land. His parting words during the chaotic flight from the capital set themselves in her mind. "Go! And come back with an army."
It seems unlikely a surprised Thalion would otherwise have stated such a thing, yet he did. And Niobhe took it to heart, the same as Thalion's suggestions to Sigurd, son of Hrothwulf, to assault the Blood Skull Barony. Sigurd might be missing, yet she will take it upon herself to do so for him. And through that claim her birthright.

646 MR - 12/1, Nathanael II is born. His bloodline is Brenna, Great, 40
